Just as I was about to go to bed I noticed it was perfectly still outside and the moon was just starting to peak out from some receding clouds. So out I ran again tripod and camera in arm, but this time with clear uninhibited skies and all the time in the world to snap away. It would have made for a nicer shot if the moon was a bit lower in the sky and closer to the ridge, but I can't complain really. I spent a good 30 minutes scrambling in and out of frame trying to get a decent shot with semi-transparent me in the photo as well. Happy with the results!
